Hello again everyone, So recently I was scrolling through some article about comparison of newly launched phones and I also looked for some last year flagship text. Guys whenever we come up with the thought of buying a new phone, we find out a tons of options in the market. A question "which is the best one that I should buy" keeps boggling our mind. So here I am again to help you out of this dilemma.

Due to the presence of lots of device the techies like me and some the great one even the companies start categorizing the devices on the basis of the factors.

  1. Price Segment
  2. Specification
Mainly depends upon the price segment, these devices are categorized in three main categories.

  • Low End -  One with lower price segment (Usually under $250-$300)
  • Mid Range - One with the Price Segment between ($325-$470)
  • High End - One with Price Segment $600 and above
Well before getting to the main point I want get your exposure on a term used so much nowadays "Flagship"  what this means? Flagship means anything which is breaking all previous set benchmark. Now you will learn that why I am talking this all crap.

So let's dive in and let me take you solution of you dilemma.
I suggest to all phone buyers out there who are planning to buy a latest mid-range device to buy previous year flagship instead. Well when you compare prices of current mid-range and previous year flagship you will find out that both costs almost same. So now I am going to make my point why you should choose previous year flagship over current mid range.

  • The previous year flagship definitely equipped with better hardware than the current mid ranges. For an example The current mid-range packed with Snapdragon 625 comparing to previous flagships packs Snapdragon 808 which will much faster than of S-625s.
  • Some people may argue about "sensors" current mid-range are equipped with but for them I must say that these sensors was first introduced to previous flagships. And also there are tons of features which are first introduced on previous year flagships then drafted for the current mid-ranges. One greatest example is Fingerprint sensor and Laser Auto-focus.
  • Then comes the software part it is definitely sure that the current mid-range are packed with the latest OS but the previous year flagships can also be upgrade to the current one and may be to next upcoming also. As an example, all previous year nexus devices can be upgraded to current android version Nougat.
  • One thing that is the most important part of concern while buying an new phone is Camera so the flagships also equipped with a much better camera performance than the current mid-range.\Example is LG G4's Camera still performs better than of ASUS Zenfone's Camera irrespective to term that both features the 16 MP sensor but G4 still out specs Zenfone.
I am going to give you list of few previous year flagships which are still best buy over current mid-range.

LG Nexus 5x 32GB (approx Rs 24000)

Nexus 6P 64GB $430 (approx Rs 32000)

LG G4 32GB $280 (approx Rs 25000)

Nextbit Robin $170 (approx Rs 19999)

Xiaomi Mi 5 32GB $320 (approx Rs 23000)

Apple iPhone 6
or 6 Plus approx $500 (approx Rs 34000)

So this is my suggestion to all phone buyers out there, do mind these terms and please consider them you guide before buying.
