Bluetooth a most common word which is exactly not a word, it is a technology uses "Networking Science" to establish a connection between two devices. Well, we say that we know about Bluetooth but I must tell you most of us just use it, but don't know how it works. We just know that it is a wireless medium, we use to share data or establish a wireless connection from one Bluetooth device to other. This isn't enough we know about it. Isn't it curious to learn about a technology that we operate and interact with every day and most of the time at this level?
First, we start with what we know i.e. Bluetooth is wireless medium to share data and make the connection between two devices, so the question is How it make this wireless connection? and this we can understand by that "Networking Science". A Bluetooth device uses radio waves instead of wires, the information or data carried by radio waves. A small chip which is able to send and receive radio waves is being installed in the devices which makes them Bluetooth enabled, to establish the connection between two devices via Bluetooth these chips send the radio waves carrying pairing request to the other end device which also packed with one of these chips which receive the packet data containing that pairing request and after being processed and confirmation on both ends, both devices are connected to each other.
Now after the connection is established the devices communicate in the same way and we also share data as well as use some Bluetooth music players, remote, mouse, etc. by sending radio waves, processing, receiving radio waves, processing, sending confirmation. This flow of data is bidirectional and also works on the reverse flow. Devices like Bluetooth music player, mouse, remote works this process Sending Information, Receiving Information, Processing, Apply the instruction received in information. So in these devices the source device sends instruction like in case of music player the device let us suppose a mobile phone sends instruction to the player to play the song, on the other end the player having a Bluetooth chip programmed for that instruction will receive the instruction and after processing it will apply that instruction to instruct the music player's circuit to play the music. I am not discussing the history, development and other stuff like that because these question will possibly never be asked in any entrance examination and they are not relevant, though.

- It is estimated that 13.9Billion wireless product will be shipped by 2020.
- 1 of every 3 wireless product includes Bluetooth technology by 2020.
